'Nah yeah' meaning
One Definition

This is used when you aren’t so sure, but you want to agree. Its like agreeing, but not quite going all in, so you give yourself a buffer zone of the “nah” first, but then follow it up with finally giving in but stating the “yeah”.
Not to be confused with the opposite, Yeah nah.
Example: Oi the cops pulled me over last night aye at the booze bus, before I even blew in the bag they said they could smell beer on me and asked if I'd been drinking. I was like "nah yeah, I have aye".
